Sports Day 2024
18 Jul
Term 6 and the end of Activities Week saw the welcome return of the whole school sports day. Whether competing or enthusiastically supporting their house, everyone got involved. The ice-cream vans on the field were a popular addition too! Congratulations to Hawking House who won the most points during Sports Day, as well as the most House Points this year!
Mr Winterbottom, Head of PE said, “Bournside's school sports day was a vibrant event with the whole school community coming out to support the athletes. Amazing banners decorated the venue, adding to the festive atmosphere. The athletes demonstrated remarkable endeavour and skill across various events, making the day a memorable celebration of sportsmanship and school spirit. This was by far the best sports day we have had in years, and it was great seeing the whole school come together and compete against each other.”
