Announcing Our Senior Sixth Form Prefects for the 2024/25 Academic Year

27 Nov

We are pleased to officially introduce our 14 Senior Sixth Form Prefects for the 2024/25 academic year, an exceptional group of students who have been selected to embody and promote the core values of our school: Ambition, Curiosity, Pride, Purpose, Respect, and Support.

The selection process included a short video application, to be filmed in school. These outstanding students stood out for their clear ambition for the role, their impressive contributions to school life, and their continued commitment to learning. Additionally, their excellent records of behaviour, attendance, and punctuality further highlighted their suitability for this key leadership role.

In their new positions, the Senior Sixth Form Prefects will serve as role models for all students, particularly for our younger year groups. They will work to foster a strong sense of community and purpose by leading and promoting house events, participating in assemblies, and representing the school at both internal and community events.

Beyond their contribution to the wider school, they also play a pivotal role within the Sixth Form community. This includes organising social and celebratory events, such as the Leavers’ Yearbook and the highly anticipated Grad Ball, ensuring these milestones are memorable for their peers.

Our Senior Sixth Form Prefects are excellent ambassadors for Bournside's Sixth Form and they have already shown their dedication to fostering a positive school environment during Term 1 and 2. I am confident they will excel in their roles and represent the student body with pride and purpose. Congratulations.

Mr. Warren, Head of Sixth Form

We look forward to seeing the impact this team of bright and motivated individuals will have throughout the year. Congratulations to our new Senior Sixth Form Prefects for earning this well-deserved honor!
