Celebrating Academic Success with a Progress 8 score of +0.52
24 Oct
We are proud to celebrate our recently published Progress 8 score of +0.52, which places Bournside in the top 16% of schools nationally.
Progress 8 is a national measure of how much progress pupils make from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 4. Our score of +0.52 is considered 'well above average', the highest possible banding. That means that pupils at Bournside achieve over half a grade higher in each qualification, compared to similar pupils across the country.
"We are delighted that the continued hard work of our students and staff has been recognised in the latest data published by the DfE. Everyone at Bournside is committed to delivering excellent teaching and learning which leads to positive outcomes for all of our students and this excellent Progress 8 score reflects that. Well done!"
