Students and staff showcase best of Cheltenham Bournside School at open evening
It was wonderful to open our doors to prospective students and their families at our open evening on Thursday 14th September 2023. More families than ever before joined us to find out more about life at Cheltenham Bournside School.
Prospective students and their families were able to explore the school's extensive facilities and enjoy interactive activities in each department, designed to inspire interest and curiosity in the next steps of their school journey. Visitors also enjoyed entertainment at musical 'busking' spots across the school site, food tasters in the Dining Centre and tours of the newly renovated Sixth Form spaces.
A special mention goes to Neve and Jake in Year 8, who confidently spoke alongside Mr Jefferies in the three welcome talks across the evening. Speaking to a full house, Neve and Jake each shared their personal experience of Bournside in Year 7 and the opportunities they have been able to take advantage of. Mr Jefferies was also supported on the night by Ruth who played the violin beautifully as families entered the Main Hall.
