Celebrating GCSE Success

256 students were celebrating on the 12th August after picking up a fantastic set of GCSE results.
A message from Headteacher, Mr Jefferies:
"It has been a brilliant morning of celebration. Today's GCSE results reflect our students' hard work and dedication throughout a time of unprecedented disruption. This year, grades were awarded by the students' teachers and rigorously checked by the senior leadership team and the exams boams. We can be confident, therefore, that the grades received are the grades these diligent, resilient young people deserve.
We have worked closely with parents throughout the pandemic, and with this partnership, students have been supported throughout a year of last minute changes, remote learning and lockdowns.
These challenges have not stopped these ambitious young people students achieving a fantastic set of results today. I’m delighted at the success of all our students, young people like Laura Mullins gaining nine top grade 9s and Fatima Shakoor gaining 8 grade 9s amongst her other qualifications. We look forward to welcoming almost all of our students back to our vibrant Sixth Form in September.
