A preliminary Progress 8 score of +0.45 suggests that once again, Cheltenham Bournside School is placed amongst the best schools in the country. In all subjects students made more progress at Bournside than students nationally.

Spirits were high this morning, with 295 students collecting GCSE results across 38 subjects joined by their friends, family and many of their teachers from their time at Bournside.

Headteacher, Steve Jefferies said, “We’re delighted with this outstanding set of results and I’d like to congratulate every individual student who has worked so hard to achieve their potential. We’ve got a great number of students gaining top grades which is fantastic, but we are equally proud of the progress made by all of our students whatever their starting point. They have all shown diligence, determination and resilience and I wish them the very best as they progress onto their next steps. I look forward to hearing about their future success.”
