Sports Day is a fantastic opportunity for the whole school to be involved in a celebration of sport. Every member of the school can contribute whether it is as a competitor or as a supporter cheering on your friend, team mate and house. It is a day full of activity with field events in the morning and track events in the afternoon.
The emphasis is very much on enjoyment and participation. However there is a need to credit the House that does score the most points across both the track and field events and this will be awarded at the end of the afternoon.
This year the Victor Ludorum and Victrix Ludorum will be awarded during the end of school celebration assembly, each award is based on overall sporting contribution, achievement and commitment across the year.
Every winner will be awarded a certificate acknowledging their achievement.
Athletes are allowed to compete in a maximum of:
- Two track events
- Two Field Events
Houses are encouraged to field complete teams, but must also ensure that athletes do not compete in too many events, as points will be deducted.
