School Gateway is the system used by the school for sending notifications to parents. It also provides you with the means to view your child’s attendance information, school reports, top up their dining centre account, make payments for events such as the year 11 prom, and update contact details.
How to access School Gateway
If you have an iPhone or Android smartphone, you can download the corresponding School Gateway app. Once the app has downloaded, open it and register your account; you can do this by tapping the New User button and following the instructions on the screen. Once you are registered you will be able to sign in and access all areas of the app instantly.
The app will keep you signed in automatically, but if you forget your PIN at any point you can tap the Forgotten PIN button and fill out your contact details. You will receive a text message with a new PIN if your details were correct.
If, for any reason, you’re unable to use the app then you can also use the School Gateway website and follow the similar procedures in the app to register your account and sign in. We do highly recommend the use of the app however, as it offers a much slicker and more efficient experience and helps the school by reducing the costs of messaging.
How to top-up your child’s dining centre account
Once registered and signed in to the Schoool Gateway, use the payments button to top up your child’s dining centre account. There is a minimum value of £10 when doing this. The lunch money button will display your child’s current balance.
