Syria Refugee Appeal

The Sixth Form have been working with a charity, 'Ledbury Refugee Support'. They have been collecting donations in support of the people of Aleppo in Syria.

Year 7 Football Success

Our Year 7 football team were unbeaten at the District Football Tournament at Tewkesbury last night, after they'd won two and drew two games. Well played boys!

Multi-Skills Festival

On Friday 25th November Bournside School held their annual Multi Skills Festival. Due to the fantastic reputation of the event, and the outstanding commitment by year 10, the festival this year was the largest to date. Eight of the primary schools local to Bournside attended, each school bringing its year 1 and 2 pupils. Over the course of the day, 527 primary pupils took part in 21 different sporting activities.

Children in Need

For Children in Need on Friday 18th November, Sixth Form were invited to come in fancy dress and show their creativity and style!

Anti-Bullying Week

Anti-Bullying Week in England is coordinated by the Anti-Bullying Alliance and this year takes place from the 14th-18th November. Every year Bournside participate and there are a range of activities in tutor time, and lunchtime encouraging students to think about being kind to others.

Brilliant Club

Mr Burton met with this year's Brilliant Club members to catch up and discuss what they've been taking part in so far since joining the scheme.

Austin’s Archery

Mr Burton has offered his commendations to Austin, one of our year 9 students, for his recent and vast successes within archery and involvement with Archery GB that he kindly shared with us.
